The rebirth of a classic

BMW 503 Coupé
A story reborn from a thousand parts
When the BMW 503 debuted in 1955, it defined a new era of luxury and German engineering precision.
Today, seven decades later, we have completed its complete rebirth in our Renocar Classic workshops. After all, some stories are not written with a pen, but with the hands of our mechanics.
This particular coupé arrived to us in a precarious state as a “car in boxes” – thousands of disassembled parts that once formed the pinnacle of 1950s elegance.
A year of uncompromising work followed, during which we renovated every screw, V8 engine and the smallest chrome strip with respect for the original craftsmanship.
Today, this aristocrat stands before you in all its glory as proof that at Renocar Classic we don’t just restore the shine to cars, we restore their soul.
BMW 1600 GT
It all began in 1963 at the Lower Bavarian car manufacturer Hans Glas GmbH, for which the famous Italian studio Frua designed a body with unprecedented elegance.
When BMW took over the Glas brand in 1966, it decided to continue producing this handsome car - but with its own technology. This is how the BMW 1600 GT was born, an aristocrat with the soul of the "New Class".
At Renocar Classic, we have begun its complete rebirth.
We are waiting for a precise renovation of the body, engine and interior so that this unique piece of automotive history can return to the roads in full force and splendor.
The story of this rare coupe is a fascinating fusion of two worlds.
